A shame that it wasn't more productive, a lot of steaming around for not many fish. I think that you were fishing too light, with heavier gear and bigger hooks you wouldn't have lost so many fish or expensive tackle. Don't you ever eat the fish, those codlings would have been delicious. The cloud pictures were the best bit, nice filming.

The 'pennies From Heaven' wreck as it's known, doesn't stand as proud as it used to... Guess you did better than me when I went the Farnes then...? Was also beaten by the weather.....

Awesome footage Nathan, weather, fishing and wildlife, fishing under rocks in bird habitats is a bit smelly, though even in NZ both fishermen and spear fishermen all agree hoards of baitfish are attracted by the birds droppings , go figure though in my experience it seems to be true, once again Awesome video Nathan 😀👍

Omg I can't believe you are where you are. I took my little man on a puffin trip there earlier this week and saw some Minkey Whales too. We went up to Budle Bay too and my young one caught his PB 43cm flounder, was super proud. Hope you are well and happy good sir. Have a great summer season and tight lines. Shaking mate 😂 thats the adrenaline. I have always lifted my Tope by the tail and dorsil fin together... if it's tired. Now i just unhook at the side of the boat. Tope are hit and run masters. They will move in on your bait and pick it up, then run. Watch the knock, wait for the run, it will stop to chomp. This is when to set the hook. Happy fishing and thanks for the great videos.
